InShell Privacy Policy ​

Important Notice

InShell is a utility app that adds device frames to screenshots. We respect and protect your privacy. In the current version, we do not upload, store, sell, or otherwise transmit your screenshots to our servers, and we do not proactively collect personal data that can identify you.

How We Handle Your Information ​

1. No Account System ​

The current version of InShell does not require registration or sign-in, and it does not collect your name, phone number, email address, contacts, or location information.

2. Screenshots Are Processed Locally ​

When you use InShell to add a device frame to a screenshot:

  • Screenshot processing is completed locally on your device by default
  • We do not upload your screenshots to developer-operated servers
  • We do not identify, extract, or analyze personal information contained in your screenshots
  • We do not build user profiles based on screenshot content

3. Photo Library Permission Usage ​

If you choose to import a screenshot from your photo library or save the processed image back to the library, that access is used only to provide the following functions:

  • Read the images you explicitly choose
  • Generate the framed image locally on your device
  • Save the result to your local photo library when you request it

We do not use image content for any other purpose.

Information We Do Not Collect ​

The current version of InShell does not proactively collect or upload:

  • The original contents of your screenshots
  • Contacts, calendars, messages, or call history
  • Real-time location information
  • Microphone or camera recordings
  • Sensitive personal data such as ID numbers or bank card numbers
  • Passwords or third-party account credentials

Third-Party Sharing and Disclosure ​

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your screenshots or personal data with any third party.

We will not disclose related information except in the following circumstances:

  • When required by applicable laws or regulations
  • When lawfully requested by competent authorities
  • When necessary to maintain app security and permitted by law

Data Storage ​

Because the current version of InShell does not create cloud accounts or upload screenshot content, there is generally no screenshot data stored on developer-operated servers. If you export an image, the exported file is stored on your device or in the system storage location you choose.

Children ​

If you are a minor, we recommend reading and understanding this policy with a parent or legal guardian before using the app.

If InShell changes in a way that affects how information is handled, we will publish an updated version of this privacy policy on this page.
